Benefits of Endura Yards
These are the unique features that make our Endura Yards the best in the world.
Versatility
The layout design of Endura Yards is flexible, allowing for easy rearrangement or complete relocation. This feature empowers farmers to experiment with various layouts, and in the case of installation on a lease block, the investment can be reclaimed at the end of the lease term.
Easy Install
Installation is straightforward, and while Landquip provides professional installation services, farmers can also install these units themselves. The panels easily connect, and secure attachment to the ground is achieved either by using waratahs (star-picket/Y-post) through the vertical posts or by bolting them down to concrete.
Railed & Solid Panels / Gates
We use strategic balanced combination of fully sheeted panels/gates, units with solid sheeting at the top and railed at the bottom, and standard or lowered panels/gates as needed. The solid sheeted components find utility in tight working spaces such as drenching and drafting races, while strategically placed railed panels/gates aid in directing the movement of sheep, ensuring a seamless flow.
Slam latches
We employ a spring-loaded 'slam latch,' ensuring swift and secure gate closure. These latches are adjustable and demand minimal maintenance, needing only a periodic squirt of lubricant every few months.
Custom Design
Drawing on more than 25 years of expertise in sheep yard design, our team recognizes the uniqueness of each situation. We love collaborating closely with farmers, understanding their methods and operations, and relishing the challenge of crafting a tailored design. Factors we take into account include budget constraints, the nature of the sheep farming operation, flock/mob size, sunlight orientation, ground contour, surrounding landmarks, property direction, and many other variables. We highly value and welcome input from farmers throughout the design process.
Collaboration
Benefiting from our extensive experience across New Zealand, we've collaborated with numerous companies specializing in sheep yard cover sheds, sheep handlers, labour provision, fence construction, earthworks, and more. This collaborative approach enhances our ability to deliver the optimal solution for our clients.
Drafting module
Most of our yards include our standard drafting module—a streamlined 3.0m length featuring smooth plastic tapered sides, railed spring-loaded drafting gates, and a convenient lightweight aluminium drop-in gate. This user-friendly design effortlessly pins into our yards, allowing for easy removal, and is versatile enough to accommodate sheep of various sizes, from large ewes to young lambs.
In Use
“We run 20,000 stock units, grain, beef, and sheep here at Belfour. This is a finishing unit, this was originally a deer farm, we had a full conversion. There were no sheep yards here so I was on the hunt for a setup for concrete floors and we were looking for bolt-ons. Landquip worked with us to come up with a design which is now complete, and we’re very happy with how it’s operating. Stockflow is awesome, they’re very solid, and it’s fully exceeded what I thought they were going to be. From design to implementation, it has been seamless.”
